A month ago I purchased a Nightforce SHV 3-10x42 scope. I was pleasantly surprised to see that they had changed the MOAR reticle slightly. Instead of having the the edge (wider part) of the reticle open at the end, they had made it solid (see pictures below) .
IMO, this does a much better job of centering the eye and would be really effective in a First Focal Plain scope. They currently only use the improved reticle on one scope but if they get enough requests, they could add to other MOAR scopes (as per the guy I talked to at Nightforce).
So what do the rest of you think? Do you like the change?
