This shows just how little you actually know about what is going on. If a dealer sells a scope for less than what nightforce is telling them to, and nightforce finds out, THEY WILL NOT GIVE THAT DEALER ANY MORE SCOPES and they will no longer be a nightforce dealer unless they get their scopes from somewhere other than nightforce. They must advertise MAP, and they must sell at MAP or damn close to it. Each manufacturer is slightly different in what you can get away with. Dealer buys a premier and sells it for less than MAP, if premier finds out they won't be a dealer for long.

That is EXACTLY what they are doing. Premier is worse than nightforce and does the same thing, as I'm sure plenty of others. If they don't sell the scope for exactly what the manufacturer tells them to, they will terminate them as a dealer. Then, the awesome dealers among the group that think its communist and won't do it, get tattled on by the dealers that can't get business on their own and want to make more money. Yeah, you know who you are, and I know you are reading this.
Like I said, none of this bullshit helps the customer, just the manufacturers, and the dealers that you don't want to deal with anyway.
