HMMM I could use ont of those for my GAPrecision 300 WM on AI folding stock. Wonder what the sticker shock is? Is is set for 190 SMK at 2900 fps?

FWIW, I think it's a mistake to aim for the $2,000-3,000 price point and not deliver a product that competes in apparent quality and features with other optics in that price range. I like NF scopes, but I end up with something else when I write the check. Perhaps they are comfortable with what they are doing and not worried about moving to new products. Certainly the SHOT show changes are evolutionary.

They are already giving up some market share to Vortex with the razor. If they don't figure it out pretty soon, I think they'll find their pocket books getting a little light by the end of 2010.

They need to address the shortcomings of their line...not make a reticle few people will want.

Rotating ocular, illumination controls, on the MLR and mildot reticle ...I would prefer they extend the bottom post a few Mils like Premier, Vortex, and IOR did,....I'm ok with the glass. That's all I think of.......

Rotating ocular was built to spec for a Mil contract and is very useful when you understand the purpose. Illumination i agree with you there, i would like to see something that is a little more adjustable other than "On" or "Off", reticle is good and all i dial elevation and hold wind, not a concern of mine though.

yep, I agree with you deadly, it's all small stuff and adaptability is a part of our game. I am watching with bated breath to see how Vortex fares the next few years.

They seem to have a finger on the pulse of the market....no military contract....but going for it. Gotta admire that shit, huh.
