I have a Savage 110 long range Hunter .338 LM and I have been looking for a bipod that I can use while prone out in the field.
I've noticed that the sky is the limit when it comes to price for anything rifle related... My question is, am I really going to notice a difference if I spend the money on a higher end bipod? Like is a Atlas really worth the extra couple hundred dollars??? Would a $100 Harris work just fine?
My other question is, I have an eyelid and ive noticed quite a bit of bipods use a picatinny rail or m-lock. Should I look into trying to modify my stock to add a rail for a bipod?
Thank you so much for any help/advice!
*Forgive me as I am still learning this long range thing*
