FWIW-Did my first reloading workup on a DPMS Gen2 24” Bull 7.62/.308 AR10, & thought I’d share my results since I was having a difficult time finding much info out there regarding the combo:

Brass: Hornady 1x fired, annealed, & FL resized 5thou using RCBS SB FL die.
Primer: Fed GM210M
Powder: Norma 202
Bullet: Hornady 168g ELDM
Seating Depth: 2.800 COL (2.167 CBTO with my comparator).

One shot was fired at each charge weight with a Magnetospeed V3 attached to get a baseline MV estimate, then 5 shots were fired at each charge weight without the Magnetospeed V3 attached for groups.

Disclaimer: The Chrono’d shots were not steadied clean breaking shots, & were shot rather hurriedly just to gather MV data. Also, I wasn’t able to get all 5 rounds fired on the 41.5g load bc the gas needed adjusting, & I got a couple bolt overs, which damaged the shoulders too badly to fire, but all in all the data is fairly decent.

Best group at 100yds was 40.5g Norma 202 at ~2560fps, & all 5 holes could be covered up with a dime center to center. Next best group was at 41.0g at ~2602fps, and all 5 holes could be covered up with a quarter center to center. Not bad for my first try with this powder & bullet combo, plus shooting such a wide 0.5gr increment range. This powder also shot well in my AR15, so that’s a bonus. No loads were compressed, & the case fill was about 1/2 way up the shoulder at max load using Hornady brass sized to my chamber.
