So parents of school age children here's one concerned parents note to everyone...

My daughter was telling me about her day on the way to volleyball practice (literally minutes ago) when... {wait for it} she tells me there is a kid (14yr old) in one of her classes in high school that thought elephants were extinct and didn't realize there are houses in Africa until today." - WTF?

The 'no child left behind' program didn't mean drop the bar so all can be equal.

You're surprised???

Last job I had was that of Q/C manager. The Q/C "inspectors" were hired before I was (plant start up). Of 6 Q/C "inspectors" only one could read a ruler, and these people were in their 20's, 30's and 40's.

It just gets worse.

Everyday I use the head in the Science and Allied Health building, I piss into the Liberal Arts Degree receptacle. It is walled off from the Online Degree receptacle which shares the same location.

Yeah, but today's students are more social-conscious, tolerant regarding cultural differences and less inclined to discriminate against someone simply because they are wrong or immoral.
You wouldn't want objective knowledge or yucky facts to get in the way of such airy and refreshing open-mindedness,,,,,
Would you?
