Not getting notifications for new episodes

I'm not getting notifications for new episodes on Podbean.

Android phone, Samsung Galaxy S10

I can't even enable notifications for Everyday Sniper, but I can with every other podcast I follow. It also doesn't auto download new episodes, which it does for the others.

This has been going in for awhile, so I tried unfollowing and then following the podcast. I'm still not able to auto download or enable new episode notifications.

Anyone else have that issue? Or a solution?

Stop following, close app, re open then re follow, but this is an on going problem with PodBean every couple months I experience the same.
I just check every couple of days all my casts that I follow for new stuff.

One other thing clean out your downloaded casts that you have listened too.

I have cleaned out the downloaded podcasts. And it used to auto erase them after I listened to them. I'll try what you mentioned.
