Most of the lying, irrational, fanatical bitches telling me to "Stop speading disinformation!" when I posted undeniable hard facts how Americans in N.C. are being intentionally ignored and FEMA won't help them, saying they gave all the money to illegal aliens to replace the Red Trump voters, most all of those Leftist bitches were males.
Unlike ALL of my posts, not one of their lying attacks on me and Trump were flagged and removed for being "Disrespectful."
In fact, when I commented that "If you support and are still a Democrat you're incorrigible, evil scum", most of the people that agreed with that were female.

Stories are written after the fact. The reason they are written is because they didn't post their intentions on Facebook, Twitter or anywhere else. Posting "I'm going to buy 3 tons of 3/4 steel plate and weld it to my D7 before I drive it through the mayor's house" on Facebook would have had a different outcome.

I'm not a Mil guy, but doesn't the US military have incredible airlift capability along with the logistics to go with it? Is it that we no longer have the ability (due to chronic long term mismanagement) or is it that the civilian side of the house (the White House) holding the military back for political gain?

Luckily, this was an isolated incident with a single uninformed pilot and a single uninformed, obnoxious local official. There are many many many volunteers on rescue mission helping those in need. Seems this particular pilot was eventually enlightened as to the absolute lack of authority the official had wrt his rescue efforts. I assume the official is being likewise informed.

Yes, the military does have a huge airlift capability.
What they don't have right now is a place to land the big transports.
The lost time it would take to truck products to the staging areas, palletize and then load prior to takeoff could be better spent.
Then you have the reverse process on the other end.
The easiest method is to truck into staging areas and disperse via helicopter, UTV, pack trains and hand-off from vehicles where appropriate.

It’s almost like the US military has forgotten how to create a basic functioning logistics system without using massive prebuilt infrastructure and contract labour.
