Anybody mounted one on a dragunov or ak with goood results? I have a nib one from the 80's that works great but i don't have a optics rail gun yet.. would prefer the dragunov for some coyote whacking at 300 yrds max, comments?

You can remove the reticle cell assemby from the front, the reticle is a tini plate in there. Just clean it with a bit of alcohol.
For your other question, Yeah 300yds should be doable with this scope on coyotes depending on your locale and the ambient lighting conditions.
