Gentlemen, I have a few questions.

How many of you regularly transport your rifle to/from the range in a soft case/drag bag?

What do you find absolutely essential to have in your drag bag in terms of storage space, configuration, etc.

For those that regularly use shooting mats, what do you find absolutely essential to have built into your mat?

What do you wish was built into a drag bag or mat that nobody seems to produce?

Lastly, whose products in these two categories do you particularly like, and for what reasons?

I use to have the same questions. While we were working on our Precision Rifle Carry Case, I found that there was a gap in the middle of the market. At one end the cheaper imported products, that were copies of the US made products. At the other were expensive and heavy "drag bags", that were made in the USA. We decided to split the middle. We came up with a case that was lighter and less expensive, but retained most of the features of a drag bag that people ACTUALLY USE. We did away with some of the over-the-top things that we did not think were needed. Quality is high, Features Good, Prices down, and its made in the USA.

Here is what we came up with:

Triad Tactical, Inc. :: Triad Tactical :: Triad Precision Rifle Carry Case

On the shooting mat we wanted something padded, not too heavy and a rolled size that was still transportable by means other than just the trunk/bed of your vehicle.

Triad Tactical, Inc. :: Triad Tactical :: Triad Padded Shooting Mat
