My Hornady 308 Win die has started scratching the piss out of my casings, so time to get a new one. I use Win brass almost exclusively with loaded cartridges running around .333" at the neck and I want .002-.003" neck tension, so I need a die to produce sized cases at ~.330-.331". Does the "plain Jane" Redding sizer do this? Or must I spend the extra bucks on the FL bushing die and get a bushing or two?
If anyone has the "plain Jane" Redding FL die, what do your necks measure after sizing?
Normally I wouldn't ask, but times are tight right now after dropping a chunk of change on an NXS F1.
Thanks for the help!
