Off barrel magneto mount

Lol, I was just thinking out loud but I’m no expert and don’t claim to be. I’m just here because I like to see what people come up with for their own off-barrel mounts without spending a bunch of money.
C'mon now, you guys gotta get out more. I heard there was alot of guys on the hide with little to do with their time. Im just a guy trying to find a solution to a problem. It seems by the majority of comments it's more important to the community to make a statement than help me out. That's all fine I'm sure ya'll are just bored to death waiting for your next shipment of powder, probably pissed Biden hasn't had a stroke yet or stepped maybe a lil too far from the shadow of CIA. Hell me too!

Problem is you are talking about using it in a match. Anyone who has shot a match finds that very funny. I don't care if you find a way to hold the magnetospeed as many people do that and companies make them for a reason. It's using it in a match that is getting people to chuckle. Nothing to do with being bored.
I've got a few magic arms for mounting remote cameras and lights, that would be and easy fix. I will probably still use my tripod for a lightweight wood hunting stock. Easy to mount with a pic rail.
I think MS is missing out here. They could develop a robust muzzle device threaded on that's a brake, tuner, and chrony in one! Install an HD camera in the end and Bluetooth it all to my phone for on-the-fly adjustment, after action analysis and blooper reel...

Will it work with a stock that doesn't run parallel to the barrel? These pics are of Wiser Precision's mount. Wiser have been very helpful and I value the service they provide. However, as you can see I cannot angle the rod nor bayonet to get it parallel with the barrel. In this case, the rod is too long and cannot be angled away from the bore. Also, the bayonet cannot be adjusted or "canted" to be parallel to the barrel. This obviously is necessary not only to avoid shooting the bayonet but also allowing both sensors to read. I spoke with your company earlier this week. They seemed genuinely interested in helping but also stated, as does your site "no cant adjustment".

I don't know why MK keeps telling people they won't work with a contoured stock all you have to do is shim the bayonet mount to level it.
Small shim inserted at back of mount to bring the nose down to a level position.
I've been using mine like this for close to 2 years.

As it sits, it will not work with things not being parallel to the barrel.
There are a few options, you can shim the bayonet vs it's clamping pieces, or you can shim the rail the device is mounted on. Third option is you can use a bender on a longer Arca rail, which turns out awesome if you know what you're doing, but obviously requires a bit of knowledge.
Sadly I can think of no way to add rock solid cant adjustment at a reasonable price. Sure it can be done, but not without substantially raising the price
Since your using a short pic rail this might be as Tyler suggested another option.

I actually agree with this statements. I've used a couple different options and the MKM offering is really good.
I've got a few magic arms for photography work. Used them to mount cameras on backboards, strobe lights clamped to rails, etc.... Just got one out to use on my magneto speed. Clamp will mount on a chassis or a stock and arm articulates where you need it to go. I could remove the clamp and put an arca mount on it but I don't think it is necessary. Threw it on for a photo.

I don't have one at at $900+ I probably won't get one (it would have had to come in under the Labradar), but doesn't it just mount to whatever picatinny rail back by your bipod? My understanding is that it reads out at least a meter in front of it, so slap it onto a 3 or 9 o'clock rail section and go.
He stated with longer barrels, cans, it wasn't reading as desired. I have no idea so don't shoot the messenger haha.
He wanted a pic rail at the end of my typical magneto mount.
I guess that makes sense. Probably not too hard to attach a chunk of pic rail. I guess there is also a parabolic adapter that supposably increases its detection range out to 3m.
