Online training?

Re: Online training?

I signed up and haven't looked back. I've learned a lot and it's definitely worth $10.

The video qualities aren't top notch HD or anything, but it's a great way to get started. I think the $$ goes towards a Rifles Only credit.

I think it would be well worth your while to sign up!

Re: Online training?

Actually the videos are HD, only problem is, to host them they have to be stepped down twice so they can be uploaded... the originals are very high quality.

As an FYI, the original file size for most of the lessons are between 850mb and 1.2GB, from there they have to be resized to be less than 100MB, which is why you get some quality loss.

But they are all shot in HD, and just recently I have improved the sound issues with the wind, getting better equipment like a wireless body mic, new camera, etc... so hopefully the videos will be better come 2010.

Re: Online training?

Great series guys.

Finally signed myself up a couple weeks ago, and it is GREAT to see the right way to do things. I'm new, so it's nice to not learn it wrong first.

For a bit I thought you might be able to go into carbine or pistol areas, but now I'm not sure you'll ever run out of precision rifle topics!

Keep it up.

Have you considered a DVD or CD package that would get them out in full HD? Oh, Merry Christmas!!!!

That and then some, but first I want to reshoot some of the video to give it a more uniform look... but we have plans in the works for that and more.

We are also going to add to the series with an "advance course" that will go into Carbine and handgun... so there will be more beyond the "basic training"

realize this was initially a test, and we feel we can now move forward.

Re: Online training?

Just wanted to suggest maybe something for the hearing impaired also. If it could be done. My son lost his hearing when he was a baby we communicate fine but as, I hav seen alot of parents don't want to take the time to learn how to communicate with them. I'll do what it takes to make sure my kids know the saftey and fun in SHOOT'EN.
Just wanted to throw that at ya. Thanks,Patrick
