Rifle Scopes Optic recommendation for cqb on 6.8 ar

new 6.8 ar with 16" barrel. Looking for optic for cqb. would be great if could use out to 200 yards also.

I couldn't find , so sorry if this has been covered a hundred times before.

I have used my Aimpoint out to 200 yards on my 6.8 AR platform,and think it works fine. You can also check over at 68forums.com as well.

Try Scott at liberty optics. He want steer you wrong and he stand behind all of his products. Also if your willing to wait till June ask him about the new IOR 1x10x26 illuminated scope. It is a true 1x so it will duplicate some what the aim points and at 10x it will take you out all the way and probably beyond the 6.8 effective range. That particular scope will find a

Any of the CQB type optics would be sufficient. I'm partial to Aimpoints due to their durability, simplicity, and battery efficiency. For your selection it's going to come down to budget and intended purpose. Remember that good is never cheap.

When dealing with rifles you can easily zero a red dot device and be accurate enough inside 200yds without using hold overs, but that of course depends on what the target is. You can also use a 3x magnifier with an EOTech or Aimpoint for longer ranges, but I'm not a big fan of them.

Aimpoint T1 a simple red dot will get you solid hits to 200.

Aimpoint is always a safe bet, the CompML3 or CompML4 would be a good choice. Definitely true that good is never cheap, but $
around $400-$800 should get you a nice close quater red dot. For 200 yards and in, that is a good way to go, especially for fast TA and general plinking. Nice feature is the ability to add the magnifier should you want to stretch the range out more. If you plan on sitting at a bench a little more a 1-4, 1.5-5 would be a good choice. You can always leave it dialed down for quick shots and dial it up when you want to. The new PST 1-4x24 would be a good choice, we started getting in the shipments of them now, and they are nice! The Mark 4 1.5-5x20 would also be a nice choice, and the 1.5x to a true 1x is not bad at all.
