Probably a tad out of your price range, but DevGru and Delta have standardized on this one optic.
Exactly what in the trailer-park hell is that?Stop teasing him. You know the answer.

Ffp the reticle grows and shrinks with magnification. It costs more too.Which one is better $800-1000.
Professional instruction is infinitely more important than the optic that sits on the rifle. Just FYI.Planning on purchasing ruger precision 6.5 creedmoor best optic out to 1000 yards?
They have their pros and cons depending on what your doing. But for taking something out to 1k yards I would say FFP. The advice given about learning more about shooting and scopes is very good and important. However, since you've given a budget, I'll throw out something I researched heavily and nearly bought but didn't because I wanted a lighter weight but from everything I've read it offers great glass and quality at a good price and a great warranty. If someone on here knows differently please say so. This is a japanese manufactured scope, the differences between these two will be field of view, top and low end magnification and weight/objective size. You'll have to decide what mag range you want but keep in mind that 10,12,15x magnification will get you out to 1k yards, just depends on how much detail you want to see or how good or bad your eyes are. I was personally looking at the 3-18x50 but went a different direction. Again, there are a lot of good options, this is just one in your price range that I personally did a lot of research on. Also see if you like the reticle, because that's very subjective and your the one whose going to be looking down it every time you shoot. Good luck.Which one is better $800-1000.
Says the man reading the thread now that’s funnyWhy do people even entertain these stupid "what's the best" threads?
And if it also has blue, you are in the tier 1 Best-estIf it doesn’t have both red and green illumination, it is not worth buying
I joined this forum originally to ask a scope question. What about that do you find to be offensive? Why do people even entertain these stupid "what's the best" threads?
Does it make you feel superior to mock a newbie? You need to look into yourself if the answer is yes.Stop teasing him. You know the answer.

Yep... Lots of scope elitists on here. It runs a lot of possibly good folks off.We talked about it before, 5 minutes after someone joins, you never see them again, so we’re stuck with the same ole scope lickers puking the same ole bullshit over and over and over.
Arken sucks
China sucks
Japan oem swallows.
Germany loves us…
That’s basically the optics sub forum anymore.

The “newbie” obviously got the humor.Does it make you feel superior to mock a newbie? You need to look into yourself if the answer is yes.
Why don’t you post what you want members to post about, it seems you want to control it. So do so!!I don't know why you came here I don't care.
People who come here for "information" without spending even one second of effort to research what they want to know are lazy time wasters for everyone else.
Let me see if you can spot the difference
The first one comes from an intelligent person who shows interest and motivation. The second comes from a douche who just wants others to spoon feed him
- I have a question about focal planes that I can't answer after doing some reading on the subject. Can someone explain bla bla bla?
- What's the best scope for 1000 yards?
