OT: Best toaster oven?

So the Oster XL I had purchased for 39.99 four years ago it's on its last legs right now is the time to buy obviously. I'm looking for something large enough to cook a 12 inch pizza, a chicken, but most importantly won't catch fire. The model I had before is no longer being made; and what they are calling equivalent is going for 219.

I'm leaning towards Breville (900), or this new brand NuWave. Anyone have favorites or dislikes?

We’ve had Breville for several years. Very pleased with it. IIRC it was a couple c notes when we bought it.

Everything like that is made in China and if it last 4-5 years I feel like I get my money worth... I now buy whatever has a shit ton of decent reviews on Amazon...

I bought a $100 toaster a few years ago, it didnt last very long. Restaurant supply, commercial quality, made in China, etc... We have a Kitchen-Aid toaster now. If it lasts 4-5 years, I figure I got my 60 bucks out of it.

Amazon has quite a few with over 10k reviews and 4.5*'s... Black and Decker, Ninja, Chefman, Hamilton Beach... Can likely get a 4-5 year replacement plan for pretty cheap....

Ours is a Cuisinart, and we have been very happy with it. Owned it for about 12 years now. Actually, never had a bad Cuisinart product. One coffee maker died after about 6 years, and they replaced it at no cost.

Buy cheap, buy often.

My ex-wife insisted on a Wolf counter top convection oven in 2016 when we refurbished our kitchen. It’s toaster oven size and is anything but a toaster oven. It’s a real oven and works that way for anything you can stuff in it. It was stupid expensive, but I literally still have it and it still works flawless. If what you’re cooking fits in it, it will do as good or likely a better job cooking it than your large oven. It’s that good, one of the best purchases I’ve ever made in cooking appliances.

Don’t let the price detour you, it’s really worth it.

We've had this for about a year, and absolutely love this thing. We use it a LOT, and it's still going strong. Makes the best damn bacon ever too. And this is better than the deal we got last year.

When we bought our Breville smart oven I thought we were crazy for spending so much on a toaster oven. 20 years later it still gets used every single day. Literally every day

I bought the top model for my mom about 15 years ago. She uses it every day and never uses her full size oven anymore

i just got one of these on sale at costco.
shorter than others, but you can flip it on end to save counter space.
can't really give a review yet as it is still in the box.
