I have painted a few, as well as some plastic drums/barrels etc. Through trial and error i learned that it works best to lightly score/sand the surface, then apply several VERY VERY light coats of the aforementioned "fusion" , remember that you don't need total coverage in each coat of paint, the lighter the coat the better chance it has of not chipping. Don't worry about total coverage in the 1st coat, you can always touch it up after it cures. I also was able to find a (somewhat pricey) matte clear coat sealer, also made by krylon
