On a couple of my scopes the parralax setting doesn't jive with the printed numbers on the dial. For example, at a 300 yard target I have to set the dial at approximately 500 yards to eliminate parralax. Also I find the clearest focus DOES jive with the correct dial setting but parralax is obvious. The guns generally shoot well and it really doesn't bother me that much but I just wanted the Hide's opinion. Is this enough cause to contact the maker? The scopes in question are an Athlon Midas Tac 6-24 and a Vortex Viper PST II 3-15. Like i said I am generally happy with these scopes but being OCD I just want to be sure there aren't bigger problems...
Thanks!
