Rifle Scopes Paypal F&F... is this a scam?

Is it ethical to find out ways to not give as much profit to bad companies (using their own enticement / marketing plans to do so) that have paid out hundreds of millions of dollars in criminal fines for their breaking the law and ripping people off, but yet who's executives responsible have never faced any personal penalties for the things they ordered. Who I might also add are constantly working their hardest to find any loophole in taxes or regulations to let them do as they want till they get smacked

That’s an easy one. If you really want to lower their profits then just don’t use their service. That would be standing by your principles which I would totally respect.

The moment you purposely cheat them you are just doing the same thing you claim to hate about them.

Makes no sense to me but we live by different principles.

As for not paying a credit card fee if there is a cash "discount," I'll do it every time the cost outweighs the convenience. $75 CC fee on a gun purchase vs mailing a check to a place like Buds or any number of established GB sellers - nope, that money is staying with me.

I just ordered some stuff from EuroOptic and it was a no brainer to pay from my bank account with them considering the savings.
The amount I saved let me do a lot of what Army Jerry wants us all to do... Buy lots of Ammo.

Rhetorical question to discuss in philosophy class, bible class, or at the bar:
Is it ethical to steal from bad people or bad companies?

Situational ethics... now that’s a good discussion.

When taken moderately you can justify a lot of things that don’t seem bad. (ie stealing food when starving)

When taken to the extreme you can end up with genocide (ie the holocost)

If you don't know/trust the seller/buyer have it shipped UPS COD. They do it every day.

I doubt you'll find many sellers willing to take that risk, way too likely to get scammed. At that point it's probably less hassle to throw it up on an online marketplace type site, or put it up for sale at a local store.

Yeah, I prefer F&F. most guys wouldn't hesitate to send a MO, which is cash to me before I ship. its just like paying for any other product. its paid in full before it ships. so F&F shouldn't be a problem. I don't want to take the risk of having someone freeze my account and steal my money after I sent the product to them. There are more buyers, so I'll pass on those guys.

as far as F&F vs G&S, I believe the biggest thing you are paying for is the protection. They are charging you the extra money as an insurance program. you don't want it, you don't buy it (ie use F&F). They are making their money by just keeping the funds in the bank for a day as its getting "transferred" all that interest adds up with millions upon millions of dollars in their accounts.
