It was from getting hit over the years. Wasn't a whole lot but it adds up. He's had 2 surgeries on his neck and after the last one something didn't heal properly. Now the Colts have no driver for their race car.

As a lifelong Colts fan, it's a damn shame that Manning is having to deal with this. Nonetheless, he's a pro football player, one of the best quarterbacks ever, and injuries are a part of the business. Hopefully he'll have a speedy recovery.

And yet our beloved Bucs still had a tough time beating them last night!
Manning is one of the all time greats and I hope he recovers and returns to the field. Had he been there last night, I am almost certain the Bucs would not have beaten the Colts.
He's a class act.
