Bodycam Captures 'Vicious' Attack On Officer
A man in handcuffs repeatedly bangs a woman officer's head on the ground in an assault which is caught on her body camera.news.sky.com
There are a bunch of them where the headline talks about police brutality of a man in handcuffs, then when you read the story, you find out that the cop had to get stitches for the headbutts and treated for the bites. Etc..
The headlines always omit that part. They are only focused on the alleged brutality.
Only the audio of your link plays on my phone with the video showing a still shot of a man with his hands cuffed in front of him. The audio seems to indicate a single female officer.
I believe a properly cuffed suspect would have his hands behind his back. If however for some reason his hands were cuffed in front then he would be far more dangerous.
There are quite a few criminals out there that can get cuffs from the back to the front in less time than it took me to type it.
This seems to be where you and I are at an impass as I don't believe any ordinary suspect could do that starting from a position where I had an arm.

Make no mistake, if you showed up to a scene where some piece of shit just stabbed your buddy 4 times with a sharpened piece of ceiling grid, and now you have to transport him to medical while you wait for the ambulance to arrive to carry your friend to the med, maybe he will survive, maybe he won't. This really had me thinking about my very short experience as a prison guard, (it was only a few months), so very limited. Once someone had a reputation for stomping someone hard for an assault on staff, if the next shift guy was soft and gentle, all of the assaults would occur after shift change with the nicer guys. It's the only deterrent they have. You keep the staff safe buy making it clear that you may not survive the repercussions of a staff assault. What are you going to do to a guy with a life sentence, add a year?

this is the point. the vicious scum in prison needs to have fear of the guards and often needs to get a lesson in violent handling when they act up. the problem is beating them to death in front of a camera goes too far and is stupid to boot. we have a very imperfect jury and punishment system. but that is what we have. guards and cops who injure or kill people are not the jury and do those things because they are insulted,pissed off or their "authority" is not respected. i don't know but i would bet that no cop does this stuff to obtain justice for the victims. most obviously don't care about anything but their power and pension. revenge seems to me to be a great goal for the system and victims. the common corrupt,sociopathic bully cop should not be the decision maker.
