I'm just wondering how a thread about PB has gone 3 pages?
Nothing beats MRE PB and crackers. Wash it down with a lemon-lime drink.
I had a Fried Shrimp Basket at Bozo's Seafood in Pascagoula, MS. for lunch on Thursday. Both of the guys I had lunch with had the stuffed Red Snapper.
Both of those guys were from NOLA, and they were impressed and one took his leftovers home with him.
There's no way I could move to Middle America ( and calling Catfish "Sea Food" ) after living on the Gulf Coast for almost 30 years.
I know bacon was mentioned, how about a peanut butter & spam sammich!

Of all the Gulf caught Red Snapper is my favorite. Blackened lightly.
If you ever get to San Diego, thers a little seafood market that has a small seating area, down by the airport and Marine base called Bluewater. Not to be missed.
And your dead on, catfish is not seafood.

Mix half a jar of peanuts, half a jar of raisins and a a couple hand fulls of M&M's (the plain ones) in a mixing bowl. Pour into a large candy jar. Makes for a great snack. I put it into sandwich bags and put in my hunting pack. Makes for a good mid morning snack. Sometimes I will add in some sunflower seeds.
You forgot the dried wasabi beans. Just sayin.'

Sourdough toast with butter and peanut butter for a grab and go breakfast. PB and dill pickle slices of sandwich bread is also good.
I'll often take peanut butter and some flavor of jam, along with a loaf of bread, to work with me to make a couple sandwiches at lunch.
I've got to make them there instead of making them in the morning. I don't care for it when the bread gets soggy from the jam after being in a sandwich bag half the day.

There is nothing better than a smashed pb&j sandwich from your pack when you are 5-6 miles in on an elk hunt. Best thing ever.
The best ever is equal parts
Butter
Peanut Butter
Partially crystalized honey
I'm not a fan of just bread with peanut butter on it, at the very least it has to have butter on the bread first before the peanut butter goes on.
Butter then Vegemite is also good
Butter, then a slice of good cheese then Vegemite is more good

About 1 cup of honey roasted crunchy peanut butter
3-4 good tabs of butter
about 1/4 cup real teriyaki sauce...none of that low sodium shit
a good heaping tablespoon of fresh grated ginger
a good heaping tablespoon of fresh grated garlic
maybe 1/4-1/2 teaspoon fresh ground black pepper
Bring to a good simmer mixing well the entire time
Let stand to cool
Slather that shit on some chicken legs/thighs/breasts.....
Bar-B-Que on a coal fire....none of that propane fake shit
Slather chicken pieces as you cook
Thai Satay chicken.....it kicks ass
Sprinkle with chopped green onion and chopped cilantro just before serving
Shit is addicting, you've been warned.

I don't eat it. Ever since boot camp, and I saw the only kids who got fatter were the ones who wouldn't eat the food and only ate PB&J sandwiches, I have stayed away from it and don't even want it in the house.
As far as I'm concerned it is a carb and sugar sandwich that isn't fit for conspumption. Now, as an ingredient in real recipe a little PB can be great.

I just mix peanut butter and honey together in a bowl and tear up some bread, throw it in and mix it all up and eat it like that.
