I dunno about perfect, but ugly, and way more than I would want to spend on a single pistol, but the more I look at it, the more I find it acceptable. Kinda like that plain girl with a few zits and big boobs...

A 6" Tactical pistol in 10mm, STI International's patented 2011 technology gives the STI "Perfect 10" more fire power advantage than 1911 tactical pistols. Combining this advantage with less felt recoil and other popular 2011 features, the STI "Perfect 10" is a superior pistol for all tactical applications.

Built on the patented modular steel frame with polymer grip (the essential patented design element for high capacity) the STI "Perfect 10" delivers the added benefit of high capacity magazines without over-sizing the circumference of the grip. The STI "Perfect 10" is well suited for multiple applications; ranging from police and SWAT teams requiring a firearm with a light rail and high capacity, to the individual demanding a high performance pistol with special features for personal protection. The tactical rail milled into the dust cover of the frame accepts all industry standard light mounts.

The STI "Perfect 10" has front and rear cocking serrations, STI dovetail front sight, and STI adjustable rear sight. The STI "Perfect 10" comes standard with features such as an STI stainless steel fully supported, ramped bull barrel, an STI two piece guide rod system, an STI aluminum magwell, an STI hi-ride grip safety, and STI ambi thumb safeties.

I saw "<span style="font-weight: bold">high capacity</span>" thrown around twice without any specific number attached - so what <span style="font-style: italic">is</span> the mag capacity for this piece? 12-rds? 15-rds?

And how many mags come with this <span style="font-weight: bold"><span style="font-style: italic">$2,450.00</span></span> 10mm pistol?

Thanks!

Nothing but memories of the girl I was nice to back in high school that turned into something real nice when I went back on leave from The Corps one year...'stunnah' was an understatement

Alabama, as to carry guns, I am good, just waiting on some stuff to be delivered out this way. I still prefer my .45's. If I was going to go with a big assed 1911 it would have to be the 50GI or this ugly 10mm for the layout, but I don't see that happening in my lifetime. For that kind of money I can buy a matched set of Springfields and have cash left for ammo

Less felt recoil than what, a .460 Linebaugh?

Re: Perfect 10?

I've always thought those were really cool, but they are just so pricey, and you are left with the inherent crazyness of a 2011 platform.

I'm not a huge glock guy, but I want a 6" G20. LW slide + KKM barrel, chop up the grip, and toss some Arrendondo basepads on the mags. Glock's got the 10mm thing on lock....

Re: Perfect 10?

I like it too. Way too mcuh money but it looks good to me. I'm betting it would be great rig, other than finding a holster, betting that would be a little tough to find.

The mag capacities for the 10mm STI guns are as follows:

126mm tubes (flush fit): 14 rounds
140mm tubes (extend just below the large mag wells): 17 rounds
170mm tubes (extended for open div. competition shooters using the 40S&W...HUGE): 22 rounds

I love the STI pistols, but the price is certainly a BIG obstacle for a lot of people. I just picked up an STI Tactical 5.0 in 45acp and it is truly a work of art in terms of performance and the way it handles. (Of course...the .45 mags only hold 12 and 14 rounds respectively).
