Picatinny adapter for bipod

I have a Remington SPS 700 and wanted to get an Atlas bipod for it, but it looks like it is only for rail mount. Is there an adapter out there that would allow me to mount it?

You need a picatinny plate bolted to the underside of the forend...

Here is a link to a how-to thread if you plan to make this a DIY project. Be advised that this procedure is more commonly done on stocks with a little more "meat" to work with. It might be worth your while to contact Kasey at Accushot or see if anyone has installed a rail on the standard SPS stocks.

Seekins makes a nice rail, too. I have one on my Rem 5R.
