gotta go during the middle of the week, but yeah, I've seen two deaths there, one was a body sliding in front of me as I was heading out of the north end... Sport Bike rider head on with a Ford focus on other side of turn. the 18 year old girl in car was in shock. Dude was dead as soon a I got t him which was in seconds. Full suit all the gear on, just last it coming from the north lake road to the first turn.
Other guy was just squished by a truck.

That was not me in the video, that was from last year.... I dont brake and I use fallen bikes and riders as traction.

Yeah I’m usually good for double the posted limit in the corners but I’ve had guys on super motos come by me like I’m standing still. I’m not gonna trailer a bike back there this year - I have a buddy in Greensboro who will lend me a Tuono Factory. Talk about shitting your pants.

Always wanted to go to Deals Gap and I will one day. Sweet R6 definitely the tool for the track, in the right hands is well capable of destroying liter bikes. Light is right on the track, congrats on the R6 Yamaha did it right with the new version. And nice MV by the way in other photo.
Nice bike! in my sportbike days I had a 2001 R6. Loved it! (1st thing you need to do is lose that rain-gutter license plate bracket)
I had a 17 R6... I couldnt ride it for more than an hour or so without regretting it for 2 days... That was my only complaint. It hurt to ride so I sold it. Plus im too short so slow speed was sketchy because I was on my tip toes.

Where you doing track days in TX? Have been to Mercedes of Sugarland and Harris Hill, a small track outside San Antonio, with an FZ1 And Tuono, but shooting seems to have gotten most of my attention of late. Miss it, but also live about 15 minutes from 337, which is almost like a track day on some weekends.
