Night Vision Pixels on Target Voodoo-S “Official” Horta Review and Other Stuff Thread

The issue with running a unit like this on a bigger rifle is that you'll need an LPVO if you don't already have one, since there isn't much back end demag. If not, the image will pixelate quickly with increasing mag.

For reasonable prices though speaking relatively, this unit will be hard to beat. We need N Vision to make an updated version of the nox with clip on capability and a higher display resolution ASAP.
True, running it on a bigger rifle with the higher magnification on the low end of my optic at 5 power would be limiting. On my AR platforms I would be fine.

Yes, if @Max_R could make a NOX that is multipurpose (helmet mountable, weapon sight and clipon) we would have a winner.;)

So far..... I love it. It's the best "multi-use" thermal I've ever played with. The image is fantastic, its versatile, small, light....the list goes on. It has retained zero on every platform I've used it on, and once you collimate it to one gun of the same caliber.....you pretty much don't have to do it again.

Here are my crrent setups being used with the voodoo S. Also, here's some pics being used with the Vortex LPVO and the eotech/G33 combo (LPVO images at 1x optical and roughly 2x optical).

That Bullpup is nice. (y)

Got the video complation up guys! Tell me what you think. I videoed through the unit using it as a clip on (eotech/g33 magnifier, 1.5x16 acog, and a 1-10x24 vortex LPVO) and as a hand held. Weather conditions in all videos (taken at different days) has ranged from decent to poor thermal conditions (handheld video was after it was raining all day). Enjoy!

The angle of the pic makes the can on that 9mm look as long as the gun. What’s the length on that thing?

I see what picture you're talking about now. That's the obsidian 45 by Rugged Suppressors in the full configuration. In running it in the short hand config now. The can I think is 8" long in this manner....but it's much shorter after removing the 4 baffle stack.

I’m waiting on a SiCo 36M that’s modular in that sense. Looking forward to checking it out

Well boys, we are coming up on a year of these being released, so its time for some long term thoughts here very shortly. I've playing around with this unit significantly more, and now have enough experience behind it to make a good dictation here very soon (advantages, disadvantages, issues, use case, the works). For now, here's some recent screenshots from a video I'll be posting later this week when it's done.
