Your link is for SCEPTER MFCs (military fuel containers). And located in Canada as well.
Those are hands down the best cans for long term storage of fuel. I own quite a few that I got for free or CHEAP (the advantage of living next to a Marine Base for 30+ years). They are made to withstand being thrown out of helos and trucks during fast unloads. Throw one in a fire and it will melt and let gas burn but will NOT explode. The Secpter cans sold in places like Costco are NOT the same thing.
That price isn't too bad as on the secondary market here in the USA they easily sell for $100 plus.
Unfortunately our idiot friends at the EPA have outlawed them for sale in the USA. It is near impossible to even get repair parts for them. The last caps I bought came from Canada and even that has dried up. If you are close to the border you drive into Canada (where they are made) to buy them from auto supply places.
If you want steel jerry cans look for Valpro or Wavian brands which are actual mil-spec cans made in Europe. You can tell them by the "V" or "W" embossed on their sides.

Those work ok for transport or short term storage of fuel but they have a pressure relief valve that will let fumes escape.
The race jugs you and others mentioned are good for the same.
Neither is good for long term storage. The Fill Rite due to the relief valve and the race jugs are made of a plastic that WILL allow the volatiles to leach through (hence why the white ones turn yellow) thus allowing the fuel to go bad.

Meh, Aint no big deal and you don't need a funnel.. if you have a funnel then you can take the big 2 1/2 inch fill cap off and pour like a old fashioned Jerry can.
They work and work excellent that is all I can say about them.
I hate to post this because I need some more and don't want to limit the supply... These are the best cans I've seen since the 80's. Get the flexible spout. Wavian cans are solid, don't leak and with the flexible spout, pour like there's no EPA. Only wish they were made in the US.

Fuck it. I have the same fucking gas can I got from a hardware store before Walmart even existed. It says GAS right on it and it is red and yellow. My favorite colors

I'm going to buy one of those 300-gal tanks that sit on a pedestal, and have fuel delivered, the good stuff... non-ethanol premium or as I refer to as Corn-free Gas.

By the time I got done with the electrical theory behind it and the bullshit that our elected idiots think need to be laws I believe he was happy to just get the fuck away from me.
You can fill the cans in your truck bed also. Trick is so long as the nozzle is touching the can, the can is grounded and can't build static. Hovering the nozzle in the middle without touching the can is where you get the random static jumping to the nozzle causing issues. Generally fiery death issues.
i've always known that the fumes is why things go bang. i've thrown plenty a cigarette on fuel just to scare family. it's fun to watch them run, but one day it might just bite me in the bum playing silly games
signs are fucking stupid cause most sheeple know little if nothing about flammables. even at work they won't allow phones within 15m of an aircraft while it is being refueled. i as a supervisor am authorised to use it at the aircraft but still walk away to set an example for the young ones that aren't that i keep telling to put their phones in their pockets or it will stay in the room next time. for some reason they call me the phone nazi, can't work it out
