My Mcree stock has a tiny bit of play in the stock, side to side. I've tightened everything an obscene amount, and I believe I've tracked it down to the folding mechanism. I never noticed it before the last range trip, and the play is so light that at 24x the object doesn't leave the field of view when I look through the scope. But the wiggle is there.

Does anyone have a possible remedy?

Tyler, the hinge is a bolt on option. One of the advantages of Scott's system is you can interchange pieces to meet your needs.

If you don't need the hinge all the time I would remove it and bolt the stock together without it.

The hinge is a moving piece, over time it will wear and you will get more play. Give Scott a call, he is great to work with and will help you out.

I need it to fold, so I can get it in the case. I hated taking it apart every time, I finally got a case big enough to hold it folded, so I'd like to use it that way. I haven't really used it a lot either, so I would hope it wasn't worn out.
