i will be shooting these out of a RRA predator pursuit midlength rifle. twist is 1:8. ill be shooting at coyote and similar sized game. ive kind of narrowed the list down after some research.

Black Hills Ammunition: 50 gr. V-Max, 60 gr. V-Max, or 62 gr. Barnes Triple-Shock X
Fiocchi Extrema Ammunition: 50 gr. V-Max

the fiocchi is the cheapest and has good reviews. what have yall had good experience with? thanks

For coyotes and other varmints, I dont think you could go wrong with any of those. I would suggest trying them all, and going with what shoots the best and cost the least, so you can spend more on practicing with it.

You should really look into reloading.

I shoot the Fiocchi with 50gr V-max. They work great for me.
Barnes are too expensive and if you are not required to shoot Lead-free, then there is no point in using them.

I came across a couple cases of Hunting Shack 50gr V Max and have been extremely pleased with the performance with accuracy and it makes great coyote/cat pills.

Re: please help me choose a .223 hunting bullet

Depends if you are wanting to sell/save the hides or not. How much sewing do you want to do? If so, then the lighter bullets are preferred. Otherwise, if you don't care about damage, then hit them as hard as you can with the heaviest bullet that your rifle will shoot accurately.

Re: please help me choose a .223 hunting bullet

im not wanting to save the hides at all. i guess i will see how these bullets i have ordered perform. hopefully the 60gr v-max shoots well in my gun. i will look into some heavier bullets next time i need ammo.
