SKD is fantastic! I like their thinking on the mags. I would have bought some at that price and those terms, if there had been any left.
Imagine the strength of the 2nd Amendment support if everyone with crazy-high prices now donated even 10% of their above-MSRP markup to similar causes/organizations.
They are also the ones who ran a 25% off everything for 24 hours after we took out OBL.
They sell great products, have top-notch customer service, and work to bring improved products to market designed for for mil/LE. They're one of the very best I know of.

The panic buying sucks. I have plenty of mags but I wanted some foliage ones for my new build and now can't get them. I'll just wait it out.

There are only two reasonable ways to handle this situation.
1. Place a backorder, and chances are it gets filled (at normal price) long before any ban gets enacted. No need to pay ridiculous prices now, you have all the time in the world to get raped after a ban is set in.
2. Go ahead and get yourself some "ASSHOLE PROOF" mags. SKD and I think there is a guy in the FS section here doing something similar. If your gonna spend the extra, make sure its going to a cause and not some random gouger.

Magpul just announced 10 round mags. I suspect most large retailers will be getting shipments shortly. Just a thought. I would rather have a shorter 10 round mag than a blocked 30.
