6.5 creed, 26" barrel, 1-8. zeroed with hornady 140g eldm (factory ammo) at 100yds. have some amax 140 (factory ammo) to use up. want to use it this weekend at a fun match but prob won't have a chance to see where it hits at 100. anyone know the rough 100yd offset between the two? thanks!

No way to tell exactly.

Go have fun and adjust on the fly and hopefully one of the first stages will be a 100 yard paper.

I have shot both and I have not seen much of a shift...maybe at most .25MOA but it was probably just me. As you get out further it may show some differences in drop based on the differences in BC of the two bullets.

yeah i have dope for both loads just wanted to get a rough starting point for the amax so i can adjust accordingly. looking at the 'shooter' app they appear to have an offset feature for just this circumstance, shooting a different load with a different zero. i remember adjusting my zero when switching from amax to eldm but forget how much and which direction.

Can't really say as what one person's rifle does won't be the same as what yours will do. Might be close. Might not but no one can tell you what your rifle will do. Just a tough place to be in. Try and get out and shoot a couple before the match.

just fyi, at 100yds thru my 26" 1-8 twist 6.5 creed, the factory hornady eldm 147 shot 1 moa lower than the 140 eldm i have been using. now i just have to remember to reset my turret accordingly. had some chrono issues so will do that later.
