Looking at getting a new Polaris RZR 900 S and I am torn whether or not I should spend the extra cash for the power steering model (extra $1500 dollars). Ive driven the non power steering models and they dont seem like too much of a burden to drive without power steering, but I didnt know after a long time of use if ill regret it. Also what kind of pricing are you guys seeing in your areas for the 900 S?

You also get a little better shocks (Walker Evans Reservoir) with the EPS model. Hate to spend the extra change but I think I might regret it.

Power steering is a great add. Buy a used one, you will save big and most people barely use these things. New battery, oil and filter changes, can of seafoam in gas tank and you will likely have a like new vehicle.

AJ is right, you can save a shit ton of $$$ going with a used one.

Completely off topic here, but why the hell can I not edit a post from my phone?

Go power steering and buy used, if you can find the right deal. People buy these things on credit for $15k plus and are stuck trading or selling to people that have cash on hand. In that market, cash does give you an advantage.

I probably paid less for this than you'll pay for a new 900 RZR and it'll go more places hauling a lot more weight.

I have a Polaris ranger 900 power steering. Great machine but it’s not reliable. I would say Polaris reputation for reliability is poor at best. But it has every feature I wanted and nothing else in the market did. So I guess I’m trying to say if you can live with the feauture set of a Honda it would be more reliable.

I’ve got a xp1000 4 seater, power steering is a must. I purchased mine used with only 28 hrs . Great purchase and lots of fun with my family.

What issues and model Polaris did you have?
