I just finished watching the documentary "My Italian Secret". What piqued my interest initially was that it was about Gino Bartali one of the greatest cyclists of all time. What the documentary is actually about is Italians smuggling Jews out of Europe during WWII. In the early part of the film it describes how the Fascist's basically classified Jews as non-persons, fired from their jobs, expelled from school and other restrictions on their freedom.

What came to mind immediately was the direct parallel on how the unvaccinated were vilified and treated by governments, the media and the vaccinated from around the supposedly democratic societies of the world during the C-19 craziness. There is no other way to describe it but as fascism and truly sickens me. Fascism plunged the world into the greatest conflagration of the 20th Century and wondering if we are headed down the same path. During WWII the great democracies of the west joined forces to crush fascism and now in the greatest of ironies are now becoming what was defeated at great cost.
