I can tell you in Tx I was never locked in my house during the pandemic and I stopped wearing a mask early into the quarantine. That was my experience though and was different from many others.

I’ll tell ya. I’m voting for Kemp. He has brought thousands of new manufacturing and technology jobs to my state. He was one of the first governors to go against DC and lift the lock downs and mask mandates. He just pushed constitutional carry through. His only fault that I am aware of is he didn’t fight hard enough against the Sec State to investigate election fraud. He did, however, push through a voting security bill against an ocean of resistance from the left.

You vote for someone else in the Primary (I'm totally on board with that, get their attention) but when it comes to the general election you have to hold your nose and vote for the lesser of the two evils. You should know by now that if you don't place your vote they will place it for you and if you step out in front of a truck Beto nets two votes, the one you didn't place for Abbott and the one you placed for Beto from the grave.
I doubt we are really shooting our way out of this mess for that we would need a few leaders and they haven't shown up yet.

Once again, your reading comprehension is lacking. The first article you posted has Kemp saying the government has no place mandating masks, but encouraging mask wearing by the individual. Note this article is from June/July of 2020, when mask were mandated in Texas. I know because I was stuck in Houston for three months, with Houston police patrolling the hotel enforcing mask wearing. The second thing you posted refers to a bill that encourages masks, not mandates. The third you posted reiterates the first. There was no state mandate to wear a mask, only local powers to enact requirements, as it should be.
