"Bridezilla"..........

This is about so much more then a family wedding. People say I tend to make a mountain out of a mole hill, but I really think it fits.

This is our entire world, almost said country, but it is far bigger then this. People like the daughter and mother in this story really have no clue why "uncle dave" is acting the way he is. You choose to cut him out of your life and he said if that is what you want and left. Now they can't understand why he will not do anything for him. I have a feeling if he lived close "uncle dave" would be the one they called to fix the toilet, you know because plumbers are expensive. He would drive over using his own gas at $3 something a gal, see it needs a new flapper, drive to home depot buy the flapper, fix it and go on his way. After saying we don't want you around they wonder why he will not come and fix your toilet.

Not that I have any personal experience in this or anything.

This is just the indicator that masks are about to come off. It will only work if all the countries agree and send troops and money to subdue any who resist. Sounds like some wannabe rich guy trying to sell his “investment strategy” to a bunch of clueless soccer moms. The autistic super geeks that want to take over the world always forget that the end result is a real deadly battle that they are not equipped to participate in.

It's all in how a person was raised.

Carter, again yet another thing he ruined.

It was "so long ago" that so many don't remember. Lets think if the country that put money into it, had it dug, did all the work to keep it running.....no they have no business being there.

This shit has been going on for a long time. IMHO it shifted into third gear in 1962,

And still not one liberal understands the importance of a Pacific and Atlantic fleet.

I am playing a video game, it is set from the 1890's to roughly 1950 and deals with different navy type things. You play a country. When you play the US you quickly learn just how long it takes to move a fleet from the west coast to the east coast for something like the Spanish American war. Then say you are heavy on the east coast, then China or Japan get spunky and you need to move stuff back. You don't build ships overnight in the game a pre dreadnaught will take roughly 18 months.

It is still in its Beta stage, so there are some issues, but it is fun none the less, if there are any video game junkies around here......Really it is about design and building your fleets, setting up refit, when to refit and when to scrap and when to just build new.

I don't think so. At least from personal experience.

I will use "the family" for people like the mother and daughter.

The family all grew up together, "uncle dave" right there with all of them. The same upbringing as the mother, IIRC Dave was the mothers brother. What we need to understand is what happened to everyone after they "grew up". Why one went one way and another went the other way. We don't know enough to come to anything, so we must drop it there.

Now for me, I can say what I saw, finally the light came on that I was being played, being used and I had enough of it and walked away. I think "dave" finally learned that and he closed the "bank of uncle dave". And now the family has no clue. Trying to explain it to them is pointless, they are already so lost they will never understand, you are just ungrateful and hateful, toss in a few -ists for good measure.

In the end Uncle dave will be much more happy, do his own thing and every once and a while something will pop into his head and it will make them think, those fucks just used me, and then go on about his day and be more happy for it. It might take some time for him to understand they used him and it is not his fault but he likely will get there.

Like everything that comes out of that area of the world, it just did not add up. It was just not the way things work.

Had a "discussion" with someone at work about this, he thinking that an change in the .gov in russia was right around the corner. Really how so. We are told this Putin guy is pure evil in human form, had people killed for the smallest of things, and yet an army marching on Moscow and nothing happens to the people? That just does not add up.

Had a like "discussion" over the dam. The russians blew up the dam, really why? To hurt Ukraine, ok, you do know that Ukraine launched missles at the locks of the dam roughly a year ago......ahh no.......you do know that the lake provides like 80% of the fresh water to russian held areas.....ah no....so why would the russians do something to hurt themselves so badly? It just does not add up.

TILT shows up on their forehead, and Putin Bad is all you get after that.

don't forget that each "student" means more federal tax monies sent to corrupt teacher's unions...it is the money they want.

I have read this book and strongly suggest it. Even if you are "not a reader" this is really not a "book" but a collection of papers and speeches she gave. You can hop around and read what you want, they are all stand alone. Some of them are quite short. Others couple hours tops.

Point is you can read it anyway you want to. Great book.

I’ll answer none to your question.

And you should see the doozy of the new gun legislation just proposed.

Serialized magazines, confiscation and basically a gun store is not a locked receptacle so you may display your sales items in the day but at night they need to be in a safe.

Basically throw a ton of shit against the wall, make gun owners fight it with their money, defend tyranny with tax payer money. If they get one thing it’s a victory for the tyrants.

In another lifetime I worked for "the worlds foremost outfitter", and there the guns, ALL the guns including black powder got locked up after hours. Now I don't know if that was because it was a "big box store" and there are people always working in there.

I guess we both have different personal experiences. My Mom and Dad both came from large families. I have more cousin's than I can keep up with. To the best of my knowledge none are in prison, homeless or living life as a grifter. Maybe it comes from the gene pool.

When the Pilgrim's / Settler's first came to America the rule was "If you don't work, you don't eat".. Seems that laid a good foundation for a new country. Some got back on the boat and went back to where they came from.

OK, so lets go with this and say the land was stolen from the Indians. But evidently we all also brought over slaves. So am I to assume that they want to give the land back to the Indians and ship out all of the African Americans to, you know, Africa? Or are we just talking about giving the land and associated businesses to the Indians and having the rest of us live under their tribal laws?

The devil is in the details. Ask detailed questions and watch liberals go into convulsions.

I mean, under the tribal "laws"that existed at that time we lawfully acquired the land through use of force or surrender from its occupants.

Also ask them if the Indians should get anything seeing as how almost all of them were murderous slave holders, that enslaved women and children for 100s of years.

The Indians came from somewhere.

Thank you,

Being part native I am pretty keen on some of the things, but, This is stolen land, well no not all of it. And I hate to tell you two fat fucks it was not a very happy place when just the native population lived here.
Trust me I have a lot of empathy for native Americans. I just get tired of being blamed for all the shit from the past. I didn’t have a damn thing to do with it. Threw out history many cultures and races have suffered unfairness. Guess how you deal with it makes the difference, you can be a whiner and always look back or you can look forward and make the best of it.

Ben & Jerry’s headquarters is in South Burlington, Vermont, which was home to the Abenaki tribe before the British colonists came and before America was founded. Considering what the company is calling for, it does not seem too unreasonable for us to expect it to step up, be the first to give the land back, and presumably return to Europe.

Appearing like the "Baseball Bat" is a weapon of choice recently.
