If 40% is breaking even over four years, I guess I’m screwed with my measly 2.2% annual raises… 🤣

well you are. and see, here is whats happening in my company. we are professional services. i know that cost of doing business has increased by 25-30%, true inflation over the last 2 years is at least 30% but i cant afford to give all the employees 30% raises because my fees have not been able to increase by 30%..... 5-8% at most, depending on the contracts i have.

so it hurts the company big time as our pure operating cost (electricity, resources, rent, gas, vehicles) have easily risen by 30%, and even i give all the employees a 10% raise, well below inflation, the company goes backwards in terms of profitability and the employees real wage is less because inflation wipes out their raises.

its madness and i dont know how to fix it. Inflation decimates the middle class.

The small company I work for went through the same thing. We all took a 25% pay cut during Covid to keep the doors open. Once we recovered from Covid then inflation skyrocketed. It took over a year after lockdowns were lifted to get the 25% back and after about another year we were all given 10% raises. That sounds like a great raise but when it is framed by around 30% real inflation we are still under water. This administration and the WEF want to destroy the middle class and they are well on their way to making it happen.

When this new variant "came out" recently - and gee new boosters should "cover it", couldn't help but think of that Project Veritas interview when the Pfizer employee mentioned creating new viruses "ahead of their natural occurrence" so they can "be prepared" with the vaccines.

Those of us on a fixed income, amount established 10 years ago, have been feeling the squeeze for the past 2 years.
I have shared many "events" here, that most working people are too busy to even look at.
The money people are gathered at Jackson Hole this week to discuss the economy, among other things.
Wall Street and main Street have much different perspectives.
Hang on to a steady job with 2.2% raises, it is going to get much worse.

And you still vote for the democrats, which means there are a bunch of sheep, or really stupid people on the island............
Are you sure they voted for them? Who does the counting? Who owns the machines? Who audits the machines?

Ive never seen a Joe Biden sign in a yard where I live.....never. Plenty of Trump signs. Ive seen maybe two stickers on a car since 2018.

When someone says blue state, not sure I believe that anymore.

There are no blue states except HI and VT. The rest is blue counties with millions and millions of moronic sheep in them and they were plastered with Biden signs. Some still have Biden stickers on their cars and wear masks while driving.
It was most likely cheating that pushed Biden to the top but I would guess that at least 70 million morons actually voted for that creepy grifter. I realize that this is a more frightening concept than the steal.
