My words upset you so much that you spend time encouraging other people not to read them? Seems pretty weak. Mush brain.
No one has to encourage folks on this site not to read certain posts. I expect there are quite a few discriminating minds who simply don’t bother to read any post here when your name shows.

simply amazing tbh. not to mention the origins, which are somehow just glossed over, minimized or simply forgotten all together.

what started as a way to keep the population of "undesirables" (wink, wink) under control has morphed into what it is today. an amazing feat when you think about it. goes to show how effective mass media and targeted "advertisement" really is...

now me personally, being more liberal...and well, "to each their own", but i also know we will all be called upon to answer in the end...

Yesterday around 1400hrs, wife and I were in town. She informed me that I really need to eat something(lost 40 pounds since March).
I informed her, I really felt like eating something out of a dumpster, some really shitty fast food.
There could be only one choice obviously....McDonalds.
So they haD all these meal deals going on for under $20. 4 different meal deals. I cant remember them all, but we got the 2 Macs, 2 med fries, 20 nuggets for $16 plus I got a diet Coke. The dogs were very happy with the leftovers.
Later we marveled at how a 3 person family could pass up that deal. You couldn't recreate that meal at home for $16.
Now I'm not likely to eat out of that garbage can again for another year, but its hard to argue that poor folks are just lazy garbage eaters.
Fast food is quite a cheap option.
Sure, its garbage, but....

@armorpl8chikn - not personal dig here - hey when travelling sometimes you just need a quick burger but got to bring up observations I make about the fast food life......

Not only was the food toxic but the family mindset that feeds fast food is toxic.

When I listen to my kids we are "the poors" apparently.

Their friends get "sub sandwiches" for dinner a couple times a week, or pizza delivered, or they are getting some sort of take out.

I watch "Peapod" pull up to my neighbors house and drop off their weeks groceries as I ponder their beat up car.

Than after Peapod drives away the landscaper shows up and 3-4 language barrier speakers jump out and do a 15 minute clean up with a bill left in the mailbox.

Or....here comes the Dodge Caravan and the girlfriends of the landscapers hop out and head in to the house with mops and cleaning supplies to clean the house while the at home Mom or Dad works on their "on line" business.

Meanwhile Im out pushing the lawn mower across my lawn, heading to the grocery store to pick out food or fighting with the kids to eat their broccoli, while my wife is bitching my son cant hit the bowl with his piss and she is tired of cleaning it up.

Growing up "Little Orphan Annie" was the only person I knew with a maid but now that we import the slave class over our borders even the marginal middle class are buying service staff.

McDonalds used to provide a cheap meal served up by some "wanting to work" high schooler making minimum wage now it has "low skilled" adults looking to say "Two burgers and a small fry" as a career choice and they want pensions, profit sharing, personal days and four weeks paid vacation with maternity leave.

I get it my kids want to be like their friends and have a sweet tasting processed meat sub for dinner every night like their friends but I hope when they have their own families they will torture their own kids with fresh vegetables and meat they make in home and all sit at the dinner table to bitch about.

Very well said

I could recreate that for the same money with a bit of smart shopping and probably do it with better ingredients, but that takes time as does the preparation. So yeah, I totally understand the appeal, and trust me, I'm no saint when it comes to this. If I've got less than an hour between picking up the kids from band practice and getting them to Scouts, and it's a 20-minute trip to the house, then we're probably hitting a drive-thru. But there should be a difference between that (or your trip) and doing it every day.

BTW, congrats on the weight loss. What'd ya do to make it happen?

I think this "make busy" aspect of life is a commie tactic to put pressure on the family.

Its insane the schedules for kids activities follow and since covid its only gotten worse.

In my day kids sports were pretty much independent of parents.

My baseball team gave me a full season schedule on a tri folded card stock paper that we wore in our hats to keep the front of the hat standing tall.

We knew when practices were and where as well as what time. All events were in town.

Events took into account family shit and the possibility that families actually do shit together.....nothing scheduled on holiday weekends and by 12pm Saturday games were done so families could do other shit.

Last weekend, Memorial Day, my daughter had shit two out of three days.....a state away.

Practices are towns away forcing parents to drive. I used to slip my glove over my handle bars and pedal to practice or games.

Im in the shithouse because yesterday was my wifes birthday. I called her earlier in the week from work and said "Im taking sunday off, Ill cook breakfast, we will go to the beach for the day and than go out to dinner for your birthday." The answer....

"Cant Shelby has soccer in CT"

Okay...see ya!

The view my son and I had yesterday...

My barrel age Manhattan I had at dinner was fantastic.

Im tired of the shit.

Fuck the kids school is closing early today...why?

Its going to be 90 degrees.

My son laughed when they sent the message out on our ride home last night "Too hot for school".

They dont care that a lot of families are now wondering how they are going to work today because the kids are being let out at 1100. My kids being older will fend for themselves but families with young kids are fucked.

The school dept doesnt care though - teachers will get paid for a full day, no stress there - but tax paying families are left without service and burning a vac day. More stress on families.

and its all by design....increase family stress, increase broken marriages, increase government dependence.

Cloward and Piven for the family.

Some of them make memes about what Republicans are doing to Fauci. Like it is some consequential action. He will be forced to retire and collect his full retirement just like Lois Lerner. The news media will cheer, and people will give it an approving nod, "we sure showed him."

can start by just not eating out and not eating as fucking much. its that simple tbh. you can go on various diets and whatnot. but really it comes down to not being lazy and then not stuffing yourself until you comatose at every meal. then eating a bag of chips and drinking a 2litre of soda until the next time you stuff yourself to comatose with 4 quadruple bacon cheese grease burgers from im too fucking lazy to cookville...

mixed in with even very modest excersize will yield results.

plus eating out even if just fast food is more expensive than cooking at home. this is fact. of course unless you ordering off child menu or the dollar menu...which is doubtful.

Agree to an extent but I think with keto you are working with human evolution to provide a better intake that matches how we have evolved.

People benefit from an ominvore diet heavy on fats and protein, greens to a great extent and supplemented by limited unprocessed carbs.

Eat like the North American apex predator you are - the Grizzly Bear diet.

I was skeptical of "diets" until a coworker started Keto and I initially blew him off. "Diets" typically mean deprivation and they dont work but about two or three sentences into his explaining keto and knowing what I know about my daughters Type I diabetes I knew this is the way we should be eating.

That FDA high carb shit with an equal amount of protein and fat is a recipe for obesity. Combine that with our commercial processed food full of garbage and you might as well be merciful and just put bullets in people rather than have them suffer heart disease and other health crushing results.

Think about it if your ancestry is of the temperate regions of the world you might get carbs 3 months out of the year unless there is some sort of means to "store" through the other 9 months. When carbs are not in season you were eating meat. Its probably been less than 150 years where carbs could be reliably stored through the winter and prior to that carbs were breads and grains that had full fiber not this processed white bleached shit we have.

Even in areas of the world where carbs may be a year round food its natural shit and high in fiber.

Not long ago a guy had a complete physical done. His doctor did weekly blood work and other tests while the main ate McDonald's for every meal for 30 days. After three weeks the doctor advised him to stop. His blood pressure, sugar, cholesterol and vitamin level's were totally fubar.

I've been a lab rat of sorts for my doctor.

I started Keto just as I picked up a new primary care. I had a pre keto blood lab through work and one from my primary care as I was about two weeks into it.

She was a little bit skeptical of my bacon and eggs breakfast, high fat lifestyle. She cautioned me.

Three years into it my total cholesterol number is down, bad cholesterol number is down and my good cholesterol number is twice the number they like to see.

Weight is down twenty pounds.

Doc says whatever I am doing is working for me.

I feel great and energy level is consistent - no carb highs and lows - because my metabolism steadily, "pellet stove" like, feeds fat into the furnace.

My pancreas kind of feels neglected because seldom does it need to produce insulin....later in life I dont think my bod will be suffering insulin resistance because all the cells have had their share of it through a diet high in carbs.

Wish I could get my T1D daughter to go keto but the problem there is she thinks she is a vegetarian - a vegetarian that hates vegetables and only wants to eat pasta and crap.

Now the dude in the video is probably a racist asshole but I challenged their hypocrisy in which they say white pride is racist while black pride is apparently okay. I seriously am getting so sick of the left.

Gonna get worse.

Son is telling me in his "Civics" class the teacher has pets.

The class had to do a paper...something about women pioneers or whatever.......he didnt end up doing it because he knew he was supposed to be super SJW in his presentation.

Teacher called him out in class for not doing the paper .

For those students that excelled in group think and regurgitated his political doctrine he made the other kids applaud them as they stood in front of the class.

Now I take him saying this with a grain of salt as kids are likely to exaggerate and he has been told he doesnt get to skip assignments he doesnt agree with. He has to provide his best effort and comply with the framework of the assignment in accordance with his ideas.

He is going to pass in an assignment on women that took on war production jobs to support the effort in WWII.

Seems like your life is just like mine, except I'm done with the kid stuff now. I can remember having tournaments every Memorial Day weekend. If you went to the championship, you played Monday, Memorial Day. Parades on the 4th of July which entailed being at the meetup at 5am, getting to the parade route no later than 8am and getting out of there by 2pm.

Playing football on Thanksgiving Day morning in the Turkey Bowl. Having 3 boys and a girl all playing some type of sports the entire school year. Field hockey, cheerleading, lacrosse, basketball, wrestling and rugby. Then rec ball rugby in the Summer. We never went on vacation because our kids needed us for their sports. This didn't include any of the sports camps, the coaches would recommend.

It was exhausting to be sure.

My hope is this is an exaggeration but who knows at this point. I'm close with a fair amount of teachers and realize the difficulty of their work. I've also come real damn close to going blow to blow with one them...no not sucking dicks either...already know where some of the people's brains were going lol.

My town is a mess.

Kids are going to the Catholic offering next year and the town is getting a free donation from us.

Based on the commie Pope Im thinking we are out of the frying pan into the fire.

I was thinking about private school but I've found they tend to be even more progressive.

Some are very conservative.
Unfortunately, the better schools academically tend to me on the more progressive end of the scale. Don't know where you are, but the Founders Academies are really good charter schools, and they stay 100% away from all this shit.

Rural GA. Private schools here are Christian based. Most are operated by churches and some are independent. The church operated ones vary in quality. I have no idea how they compare to very expensive schools in large cities, but I do know they are way ahead of local public schools after transferring kids to public for HS.

Yeah, if I had kids to send to school, I would probably send them to a Christian school at this point, even not being Christian. Do check out the Founders Academies, if they are in your area. They are a program of Hillsdale College, and I think there are a couple dozen around already. I'd describe them as conservative but non religious, but with very high academic standards. Also, thanks to Espinoza v Montana last year, voucher and credit money is available for use in religious schools, so some of the landscape could change.

I've had dealings with both super high end city/Silicon Valley schools, from every point of view, as well as with some of these others. In almost every circumstance, what a kid gets out of it is going to mirror what he puts in, and what his family life is like. The sad truth of it is that the big name schools have better connections for pushing their alumni into college and out through life, but in my mind what they subject these kids to just makes the whole thing not worthwhile.

It's funny looking back. I remember in the late '80s being in one of these schools for high school, and one day they brought some recent graduates back to talk to us about the horrors of dealing with early PC culture at Ivy League schools. Just to warn us, let us know how we would have to navigate the system, what they might be looking for in admissions essays. Now I am sure my old school has gone full SJW crazy, though it was probably the last SV school to do so.

Not sure how it works with vouchers, if that gives the State any say in goings on. Some schools will not touch any State or Fed money.

  • Scientist Yusen Zhou reportedly filed a patent for a COVID-19 vaccine on behalf of China's People’s Liberation Army on February 24 2020
  • China had only declared human transmission of the virus five weeks prior
  • News that Zhou filed a patent for a vaccine so quickly suggests Chinese officials may have known about the virus much earlier than they admitted
  • Zhou is also said to have worked closely with the deputy director of the Wuhan Institute of Virology
  • Some scientists have theorized that the virus was created inside that lab before it inadvertently leaked out
  • Zhou died in mysterious circumstances in May 2020 - less than three months after filing the patent

Yeah, it is definitely state to state. Here we have education tax credits, which keep it between the parent and the state, and keeps the schools out of it.

being from Texas and having friends in the Rio Grande Valley, and spending a lot of time down there fishing, working etc.... this is a huge freaking deal that they elected a Republican as Mayor.

it was also a huge deal that Trump closed the gap in a couple counties down south. its going to get interesting.

See, it's the mentally deranged who elected Biden. Even the Latino community won't vote for a Democrat.

Another gift to China?

This kind of stuff happens all of the time. We had a very small "creek" and they wanted to build a large research center on the property. They were told no because of a small freshwater snail living in one part of the creek.

The waterway was an average of 2 feet wide, with many parts less than a foot wide. No more than 6 inches deep but averaged about 2-3 inches deep.

Well now, that should dispel all thought of this being a natural disease. They manufactured the virus and developed a vaccine almost before the United States knew of the disease.
