I think I would rather see DeSantis. The reason for this is he has his people that would be loyal to him. Trump got bit to many times by people who did not have his interest in mind. DeSantis has had time in politics to make sure he's got the right people.
Did you know that when she ran for mayor, she claimed there were voter irregularities. I can't imagine that happening in Baltimore City......
Desantis is more disciplined, studies the issues better, has better instincts. I cannot think of a way in which Trump is better than Desantis, except for having a bigger base, which clearly isn't big enough to win.

I'd be delighted to vote for DeSantis. I suspect he'd even have a chance of dragging over some moderates, especially if the current trajectory holds over the next three years.
To get my vote, Trump would need to explain exactly how he would select better people the next time. Maybe he can farm this task out to the local temp agency? It'd likely produce better results.
