And why did they say we had to have this 1934 deal. Al Capone, machinegun Kelly, Bonnie and Clyde.....right. That is what our history books told us.
They also show us photos of these people, it does not look like Al Capone or Machinegun kelly would have ANY issue getting $200. I thought Clyde hit an armory for military weapons.
Ok if it was not for that then why was it.
Oh yea....keep them out of the common mans hands.
Fast forward a few decades, and you know this "machine gun" thing is getting out of hand. There are getting to be too many of them, the $200 entry fee is not enough anymore. Raising it, hell that will be a pain and would have to go through congress, that will never work. What can be done.
I know say no more after today. And who did that, Bush. Now they have just what they wanted in 1934. What once cost $50 for a parts kit on an Uzi, now costs $35,000, and the full guns MUCH more then that. Add to that cranking ammo costs and components and you can see right where they are going.
Now personally I see me owning a "machine gun" as just stupid. Having played with them before the giggle factor fades fairly quick, and even faster when you apply the $ to each bang you hear and twice for those you don't.
That is not the point. If I want one I should have one, oh you can says uncle sam. You just need to...................................
And yea I can. But not for what is use to be. Well nothing is what is use to be is the argument. Well nothing that you had a finger on the scale to tilt in the direction you want to go.
Like I have said all along they are playing the LONG game here people. You think it will end quick. Doubt it, still too much resistance for it to pass, they are getting a good idea on what that resistance will put up with during all this J6, it is all testing and planning.
How soon they try to push you over will depend on how quickly they think they can.
There are going to be a few more big tests coming up this year, I think we will get a good idea on what is going to happen by this time next year. Their time table gets pushed back a bit, or there is grease on the tracks.
