As to the article, hell no there is not a "financial planner" on the planet I would trust with my money. I have not needed one up to now and think I have done pretty well with things. I own my own house, no payments, own my own land, same, cars, same, I have no debt at all save monthly expenses, and those are paid in full every month.
I guess I don't need one as I have a brain and can think, even if I do suck at the maths.
