While true we should compare both ideas of what "democracy" means and see which we prefer. I think the answer is pretty simple.
I just put this in another thread but it seems appropriate here:Si.
The dem's are clearly sliding into the socialist/communist/oligarchy abyss.
The rep's are slowly inching toward authoritarianism/totalitarianism ... patriot act, banning machine guns, banning bump stocks and more.
They both suck, it's just a matter of which brand of suck you prefer.
There is little representation beyond the minimum to give the illusion of representation so they can keep getting re-elected. But historical evidence clearly shows they vote in unison and apart from what the constituents want.

WASHINGTON (TND) — House Speaker Michael Johnson told his Republican colleagues he plans to hold a vote to impeach Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas soon.
Johnson shared his intentions in a letter he sent to colleagues on Friday.
"When we return next week, by necessity, the House Homeland Security Committee will move forward with Articles of Impeachment against Secretary Mayorkas," he wrote. "A vote on the floor will be held as soon as possible thereafter."
Brac Base Closer’s but only those military bases off shore, realign the personnel back to North America. We are no longer going to be world police. Besides maybe enough is enough with Mexico, we should impress upon them to better manage their criminals by actively participating with military forces restoring law and order For them.Who ever the next president / administration is... Downhill of course but we have a way to go before we hit rock bottom that would finally make someone or group stand up and act possibly . Until then just sit back and enjoy the show and don't forget to vote as the political-class laughs their ass off. American's have become a very submissive society ruled by the 535 oligarchy which controls the 332 million tax slaves. I wouldn't hold one's breath thinking that one day this would change anytime soon.......I just put this in another thread but it seems appropriate here:
While on paper we are a representative republic the halls of congress operate like a mob rule democracy. That means popular (majority) vote by the politicians does indeed make the laws. The only thing that makes a representative republic viable in any government is when the morality of the elected officials cause them to really vote for the welfare of their constituents and represent those interests. This is not what we have currently - far from it. We effectively have a political class that is voting democratically to do what they please, which includes being told or coerced into that “uniparty democracy” environment. There is little representation beyond the minimum to give the illusion of representation so they can keep getting re-elected. But historical evidence clearly shows they vote in unison and apart from what the constituents want.
If we look at it in those terms we can see that a political-class democracy driven by outside and selfish interests is probably what we actually have because representation of the citizenry is no longer a primary goal of our elected officials. This also means that wherever the politicians steer the ship it is based on some other agenda that isn’t highly correlated to the will of the people.
The decline of morality, the absence of honor and a lack of willingness to serve the people instead of powerful interests is what has killed the representative republic. We have wound up with a federal democracy composed of snakes that has the entire bureaucratic employee base doing their bidding. The representative republic is dead - acknowledging that may help to give us a clearer picture of what is going on and where it is all headed.
No it doesn't. One side is corrupt and betrays their voters and their values.Si.

Appears that a 50 would be a F (fail). Is this legit? What general education level does a 50 on the ASVAB equate to?

declare war on mexico and the rest of central america. that way anyone here from there is a hostile military enemy alien or spy during wartime. shoot them on sight or capture and isolate in concentration camps. same things the russians did to germans after 1943. this gets around posse comitatus, which doesn't matter because pres can suspend it at will. i'm a bit surprised that the biden/obama regime hasn't already done that to use army against any opponents they see. this all assumes that the current woke military can actually beat mexico and it's cartel troops on the ground and clear the inner cities. hard core seems to have been chased out of the military ground forces and navy.Brac Base Closer’s but only those military bases off shore, realign the personnel back to North America.
