Recent studies came out saying statins don't work...same with anti-depressants...You have some good things to say, but please learn where the shift key is, it is hard for this old man to read this.
Libertarians are real big in personal liberty/freedoms they are also real big on if you do something stupid while "on" those freedoms you will pay the price. I am very OK with this.
It is also a little more complex then you lay out. Some real hard decisions need to be made about a few things. What do you do with the homeless druggies crapping in the street? I have my view but it is pretty un popular. Do you have any programs to try to "save" people if they get in too deep. Addition is one hell of a thing.
And don't get me started on Dr's. Me falling apart I see them quite often, but I do think they are, or at least many are not doing things for your best interest. They keep pushing Statin drugs on me, they totally fuck me sideways with a chain saw, we tell them this and they push it like a dealer. Two different Dr.'s. I just quit taking them when my brain really started to fall out of my head. I actually feel better now.
Well, they lower the "test" numbers, they just don't reduce your chances of dying.Recent studies came out saying statins don't work...same with anti-depressants...
I agree. I learned that the hard way.Recent studies came out saying statins don't work...same with anti-depressants...
Fuck Google and Gemini. I don't easily get offended at all but when I saw THIS shit, it more than just offended me:

The heroes and martyrs of the American Revolution were real life men, with entire lives, emotions, families, experiences, and human legacies. They sacrificed EVERYTHING they got going up against the most powerful empire of their time. They fought, marched, starved, shivered, and suffered terribly on lonely fields worrying about their families back home, constantly wondering if they would go home one day and find their beloved wives and children tomahawked and scalped by British Indian allies, or raped and then savagely butchered by Tories and loyalist militias. They were real people and sacrificed all they got, and then fucking Gemini does that shit??? That is the ultimate form of disrespect. Being part of the Patriot and gun community all my life has taught me that it takes EMPATHY to have conservative leanings. Leftists have none, and their camp has the highest amount of pathological narcissists and outright psychopaths.
I will say it depends...........sometimes I crack myself up.
It depends on how bad things get and how long they stay bad. I don't remember the guys name but he wrote a book about surviving in the former Yugoslavia and it was quite interesting. While things like gold did always have some value things like canned ham had so much more value. Medical supplies even more value, soap was pretty darn high up there as well.
When the world goes to hell the people in hell will care less about gold and silver, they will want good water and some food shelter and warm clothes.
I wish I could remember the book as it is quite good, a bit of a downer but good.
Also don't think you are really going to be "living off the land" the larger game will be gone inside of a month or two, and the garden will likely be defended. Groups of 1 or 2 will quickly fall, small bands under 20 members will be able to defend what they have, travel in numbers if need be and have a schedule for defense of their area.
You can't eat gold.
That whole series is great - recently finished 5 years After. One Second After - good book
Jesus.Seavey was given a two-hour penalty for not sufficiently gutting the animal, as required by the race rules. The moose meat was salvaged and distributed to people to eat.
