An Elon observation.
There is a Deep State that wants to control the universe.
Steve Jobs could have been their Wonder Boy with the invention of the IPhone. Him dying at 56 years old created a vacuum.
Then Elon "Wonder Boy #2" comes along. The passion to control was ingrained. He sold his ego to the Deep State.
The bonus was his ability to accomplish building futuristic "machines".
He now has perfected brain implants, has a string of satellites and builds a car with limited mileage capacity.
He has not cured cancer, eliminated famine, provided water to the deserts or created world peace.
He is the "builder" of the machines that will control the universe.
The public relations department is starting to re-run some of the old ads about Wonder Boy #2.

I actually saw their idiot mayor on TV this morning claiming with an air of informed-authority (and a straight face) that the reason for this is that the "migrants" (ie illegals) are actually catching TB from the American citizens because they have much lower resistance to TB than we do, and that's because TB is nowhere near as prevalent where they came from as it is here.

The defendant has no choice for a court appointed attorney. Imagine if you were innocent and got that thing as your lawyer. There’s no way you could tell the judge that you want another, competent, attorney. The defendant’s only hope is for a jury to take pity on them, if they know that thing was appointed by the judge.
