Why wasn't someone manning that damned turret?
Shouldn't have been any arrests.
Unalive them.
Mount their heads on top of the fence as a notice to future invaders.
Throw the remainder back on the other side of the fence.
Weld the hole back up.

Not sure if anyone here is old enough to remember this . . .

.... but there should be a modern day equivalent.
Don't forget what the romans did during the slave riots of Spartacus.
Roman crucified slaves,; all the way back to rome.

6,000 slaves

During the Spartacus revolt, which occurred in 73-71 BCE, 6,000 slaves were crucified along the Appian Way as a warning to other slaves who might consider rebellion against their Roman masters

5280 feet * 130 miles / 6000 slaves = 1 crucified slave every 114 feet.
history for today -
Roman mile is empirically estimated to have been around 1481 meters (1620 yards, 4860 feet
4860*130 / 6000 = 1 slave every 105.3 roman feet.
Romans loved their math. My bet, is they made it an even 100 feet and used them as distance markers.

Gotta say...COMSEC must not be a big thing:

MEGA FAIL here. Even at my work...somebody dials in, questions are raised as to who it is on the line, if no answer in 20 seconds or so, off they go. But this is absoutely stupid IMO.

The Romans sucked. The best thing that ever happened was the barbarians bringing that satanic Pagean culture down.

A number of problems with this. I have no answers, only questions;

1. AFAIK, in order to join a group/chat/chatroom (whatever) in Signal, you have to be invited and you have to sign up/sign in in a formal fashion.

2. So, how did numbnuts get an invite in the first place ?

3. By joining the chat, it seems that he would have had to have broken one or more laws by signing in. He would have had to have known in advance, in at least general terms what the subject matter of the chat would be AND THAT HE DIDN'T BELONG THERE.

4. By then disclosing details of the chat publicly, did he not violate additional laws related to US security ?

Seems pretty obvious that regardless of possible fuckups on the administration's part, this doorknob ought to be facing charges related to receiving and disclosing secret/top secret information. I don't know why the administration is in defense mode, as opposed to just sending the U.S. Marshalls out to pick the guy up/arrest him and throw his ass in jail. It's pretty obvious that he broke the law related to U.S. Security.

If it were me in that situation, I'd know immediately that I shouldn't be involved in that chat. I'd decline the invitation and not attempt to sign in. If I did, I'd know that the next "knock" on my door would be the Marshalls. Pretty much problem solved right then and there.

ps. Fuck ron wyden.

Any chance the phone call was a fake to expose a deep state plant/leaker?? Whoever sent that signal invite might have done it on purpose??
