So let me get this right. Our country is burning down and Joe decides to go to Poland and tell Polish jokes.

And his wife decides to go to Africa and play with Mandingo.

Please somebody explain, what is so valuable in Ukraine that we will be going to war to defend it ?

Institutional investors may control 40% of U.S. single-family rental homes by 2030, according to MetLife Investment Management. And a group of Washington, D.C., lawmakers believe that Wall Street needs to back away from the market.
“What we’re saying is don’t have private equity buying up single -family homes,” said Rep. Ro Khanna, a Democrat representing California’s 17th Congressional District. Khanna is the lead author of the Stop Wall Street Landlords Act of 2022. “What’s outrageous is your tax dollars are helping Wall Street buy up single-family homes,” he said in an interview with CNBC.

Not just UK firms... These are American firms investing American's pension money in China... MSM in USA is not reporting this
____________
Some of the UK's biggest financial firms have ploughed millions of pounds of savers' money into a Chinese surveillance company accused of being complicit in the persecution of Uighur Muslims, The Mail on Sunday can reveal.

HSBC, Legal & General and BlackRock are among the finance giants to have put investors' cash in Zhejiang Dahua Technology, which is backed by the Chinese state.

Dahua, which makes high-tech CCTV cameras, was one of the companies named in a report last week warning of the risks of British police forces using Chinese surveillance technology.

China has been accused of committing crimes against humanity in its treatment of the Uighur people in the north-western region of Xinjiang.

I saw a bright bulb in a big box store sporting a mask today. Stupid still lives.
That person may have covid, and is reducing the spread. In a big store situation masks will definitely reduce the spread of a virus. In a closed room with lots of people, probably will do little. I had covid a week ago, and started wearing a mask when in a store. Felt a bit stupid, but it was for other people not for me.

Sigh.

Hmmm, so I guess with Justin Castro and their commies in Canada, super-pigs will take over. Should prove fruitful shooting for folks in Montana, ND and Idaho as I'm sure they'll cross over.
