Yeah...I've bought more backcountry gear there than all the other websites combined. Can't beat the bargains on the Classifieds board.

^ That sounds like the best pheasant recipe I've ever tried. Rinse and pat dry pheasant, place in bowl. For marinade, pour jack daniels into a tall glass. Set both in frig to marinade for one hr. Remove from frig. Drink jack daniels and discard pheasant. Enjoy!

Down South Finger Food:
Remove breast from dove.
Remove meat from breastbone, keeping two breastmeat halves connected (be careful).
Place a slice of jholopeno between halves and add a bit of creamcheese.
Close breast halves over filling.
Wrap with bacon.
Grill till done (Like most wild meats - be careful to not over cook!!! Wild meats are generally low fat content and should not be over cooked!!!)

I remove the breast from the bone, chop into small bite size pieces, marinade in italian dressing or similar over night, pan fry on HIGH with avocado oil, stuff with crem cheese into large jalapeños, wrap with bacon, bake or grill at 350 for 25-30 minutes. Typically i am using the eurasian collared doves cause they are invasive and bigger.

Yeah, I saw that too. There's a difference between cooking fowl an foul cooking. Waterfowl is delicious IF you know what you're doing. My buddies call me Luke Skybuster cuz it takes me a box of shells to kill one bird. I treasure them cuz they cost me so much! We had four roast ducks and one turkey on Thanksgiving. Some glazed in a spicy-sweet honey, jalapeño, orange sauce, the others served with duck fat gravy. Mmmmmmmmmmmmm....

LOL. We always joke about 100 shells for 20 doves that have about 2oz of meat per bird. I don't shoot shotguns much anymore, but have launched my fair share of lead skyward.

If you need recipes for various game I would suggest a few cook books written by Hank Shaw. I have them and the recipes have been fantastic so far.

Watch some of these videos and substitute your game animals.
I have done this one using venison burger. It's pretty damn good
