I dont know who inferred that savage DIY GUNS ONLY SHOOT FAIR IS WAY OFF THE MARK.I have put together 6 of them now and they all shoot.My 7.62-39mm I bought from another member,shoots very well.I shot it at 200 yds and got groups that I couldnt believe.My best was .285 using sierra 125 pro hunter bullets with benchmark powder.It is a scream. My 260 is in a stockade thumbhole and I love it.It shoots in the .3's commonly and much better.I also built a bull barreled .308(mcgowen barrel) with an sss trigger,egw rail,8-32x40 4200 bushnell. I fit it into a bvss stock and bedded it with marine tex. It is a lazer beam.
