Powder IN-STOCK thread

Primers from $30 to $100 per 1k is the same difference as powder going from $30 to $40 per pound for my 6.5cm. Just for context.
Well Iā€™m not buying that theory or context. Everyone bought 1000 at a time pre-fakedemic. Now youā€™re spending $70-100 more for the same product and youā€™re spending $5-10 more per lb. In the long run if you bought enough before the fakedemic? Youā€™re accurate loads could be had for $0.60 a round. Now? Youā€™re accurate loads are about $1.50+ a round. Depending on the type of cartridge of course.

My 6.5cm load per se is 41gr of h4350 or 170 rounds per pound.

Powder @ $30 per 1lb. $30Ć·170=17.6 cents per round for powder
Powder @ $40 per 1lb. $40Ć·170=23.5 cents per round

So primers going from 3 cents to 10 cents each is roughly the same as powder going from $30 to $40 per pound.

BTW I just spend $50/lb for 5lbs of h4350 from Hodgdon. Also I bought a couple thousand 140gr eldm's this August at $370 per 1000. I did end up buying Lapua brass for $93 per 100, which hasn't changed in price enough to matter.

So my costs is $0.76/rd not including brass.
Powder= .29
Primer= .10
Bullet= .37

Now my 338lapua is $1.53/rd which is significantly more, but I don't think it's ever been cheap to shoot. Again not including the price of brass since it hasn't changed much if at all.
Powder= .58
Primer= .10
285gr eldm= .85

Just pinned the hodgdon website to my home screen next to gunbot. Gunbot picks up a lot but doesn't see everything. Primers are easy to find under $80/K but I'm finding them cheaper in store now.

Anybody else use gunbot?

You should include the price of brass in equation though

CCI small rifle back in stock at Brownells. This is the deal that includes a $75 gift card.

SR BR primers as well.
Shippping,hazmat and tax. $245 minus $75 .$170 for 2. That's $85 each brick. No way is this a deal.

I know it is not powder, any lines on Berger .243 109grain Hybrid Target bullets?

Canā€™t believe no one has posted that 1 site had/has accurate 4350. I know itā€™s not H or IMR but at least itā€™s 4350. Only 1 pounders but I got 4 and there was still some left. Iā€™ve never used A4350. Hope itā€™s just as good (probably not with my luck) LOL

Man today has been the day for 4350. I just got 4 lbs of h4350 and an 8 lb of IMR. Brownells still has the h4350. Shit will the varget or RE16 show up also. That would be great
