Just bought a Redding T7 turret and looking for the next part of my reloading setup...powder measurement. I like the idea of using a metered setup, but looking for opinions on using that vs digital or other scales??? My primary focus will be reloading 338LM, but I'll reload 308 and .44 as well. If metered is a good way to go, what do you guys recommend?

Re: Powder metering chamber

Sounds like the Chargemaster is rated pretty well in its category. How does that compare to something like the Redding MatchGrade 3BR? I'm looking for reasonable speed...but since I'll be shooting at 1000 yards, I don't want to sacrifice accuracy.

Well I have no idea how fast the aforementioned Redding is but the CM1500 allows me to charge 100 rounds of .308 in about an 45 mins or so and that's with walking off and dicking around a bit. You can reprogram them to run way faster too.

You've got nearly 13k posts and this is no time to hold back. If you've got some useful wisdom for me...by all means fill me in or point me to a former post of yours.

hmmm...not very helpful. Think I'll just get the chargemaster 1500 or redding 3br. Got my redding t7 turret today, so I'm pretty stoked to get set up.
