+1 on the McMillan copy of the orig winchester stock with the monte carlo comb. With the sporter weight barrel that would be a nice setup.
Seeing as you are only doing a sporter weight barrel, you could always just open the barrel channel and bed the original stock. With a good epoxy seal of all the wood that would give you a nice light setup that will take the weather.
If you ever change your mind and go heavy barrel, McM also makes a sweet copy of the winchester factory "Marksman" stock that came on the Model 70 and Model 52 target rifles.
